George Drew was born in Mississippi and raised there and in New York State where he currently lives. He has two collections of poetry, most recently
The Horse's Name Was Physics (Turning Point, 2006). Drew was the winner of the 2003 Paumanok Poetry Award and the 2007 Stephen Dunn Poetry Award. You may contact the author at
