By signing up for one of our hosting plans, you agree to conform to the following terms of use and conditions:

1. Your website must be relevant to poetry. If a question arises in this matter, we will be the final arbiters.
2. You agree to notify us if you no longer need the website so that we can make the space available to someone else.
3. You agree not to use this website to host pornographic content.
4. You agree to do your own web design and marketing, if any. We do offer professional services in web design and development, but it is charged at the market rate. Please contact Robert King, rsking@futurecycle.org for more information about our professional services.
5. You agree not to knowingly place content online that causes your website to exceed its allotted bandwidth and which interferes with other applications on the server. Whether intentional or not, you will be given a warning if such problems occur and given a chance to correct the page or pages causing the overage. Repeated abuse, however, will result in the disabling of your website.
6. If your account has extra features that incur monthly or yearly fees, you agree to pay them promptly. You will be sent an invoice or a payment link via email at least a week before the due date. Please keep in mind that all the fees we charge are what it costs us to operate the server and host your account. We are not making any profit on this whatsoever. So payments must be prompt.
7. We accept no liability for any loss of data whatsoever. Our server hardware is only a year old and we expect it to live a long time, but cannot guarantee that problems will not occur. There are automatic backups every night that can be used to restore the server operating system and the data. However, there is no guarantee that you will never lose something. We strongly encourage you to keep current backups of your website pages and any databases you are running. Whatever you do, don’t put the only copy of your best poem on the website! Back it up!
8. You must accept that we cannot protect you from spam emails. The server has a spam filter, but spammers are usually faster to adapt than are spam filtering softwares.
9. If your website goes down for any extended time (rare), please use our trouble ticket system to contact us. This ticket system is accessed via your website control panel. If the problem is on the server end, it will be fixed in a timely manner.
